Brief Description: Safe Air pitot tube bracket install #3
I received the replacement SafeAir piot tube mast after receiving an email from Vickie at SafeAir. I sent the old one back and received the blue one.
I placed the pitot mast in place, drilled, and deburred. I had to adjust the opening slightly with my dremmel and 1 inch scotchbrite to accomodate the new mast in the bottom skin.
I picked up my Dynon heated pitot tube from ACS this past weekend. Once the mast was set in place, the pitot tube was placed in for fit, then the pitot tube and mast were marked for the screw attachment holes.
The pitot tube and mast were drilled. No issues. I'll be getting some 6-32 stainless screws for mounting and will tap the pitot tube for that.
